Renaming & rebranding Vigisom

(without losing patients along the way)

It’s not usual to rebrand or rename brands that are otherwise preforming well. Consumers trust their brands they are familiar with, and they don’t like change. 

So the big challenge with rebranding is to not lose your patients on the way, as their trusted product might now look very, very different.

This was our brief, and we approached it - not only for the task at hand - but with an eye to future growth.

It was important HCPs and current patients understood that this was a change of name only – everything else was the same.

Using a modular design approach, we harmoniously blended the old and new brands, so that there was a visual connection around the name change message. 

At the same time, we also created a new Vigisom brand that would eventually take the lead for HCPs and patients with sleep issues well into the next few years.
